Why do you shoot film?

I shoot film because I love the way film soaks in light. It is very soft, light and romantic. Something you cannot re-create with a digital image. It has forced me to slow down while shooting and focus on capturing the feeling of the moment.

Yes yes & YES!! I love to travel! I also do destination/out of state engagement sessions. Thinking of having your engagement photos in the middle of the Grand Canyon? I’m down for it!

What is a ‘stylized” engagement session?

A stylized engagement session is an engagement session that we set up scenes and use props to emphasize and bring out the uniqueness of each couple. I LOVE to plan these! Just ask during our initial consultation.

Do you work with a second shooter?

I work with a second shooter for a most my weddings. It’s a great way to document each aspect of the wedding day from both the bride and groom’s view. So when I am getting ready with my bride, the second shooter is getting ready with the groom. When I am taking the first kiss shot, the second shooter is getting mom and dads reaction. Ect…But it is completely up to the bride and groom on whether they want a second shooter.

How long till we see our photos?

Engagement sessions are finished in 1-2 weeks. Wedding photos are finished in 4-6 weeks. Blog posts and Facebook previews are posted within a week. Just to keep you from getting too anxious!
