Minutes before Anatomy class began, Cory spotted the most gorgeous girl in a cheetah print dress waiting for the same class. He quickly snagged a seat next to the girl who had caught his eye and struck up a conversation. They were assigned lab partners the first day of class so Cory got Kari’s number to study.
After months of study dates later, Cory asked Kari on an official date and she quickly accepted. Cory had planned an entire evening of fun for the both of them. After dinner, hours of mini golf and arcade prizes they both sat down to enjoy a piece of fresh fudge. As Cory and Kari laughed and talked Kari felt something. She knew Cory was something really special. That night was the beginning of something lifelong.
Years later, while visiting Chicago for the weekend, Cory had secretly planned out the perfect night. He had the hotel staff lay out a gorgeous dinner outfit so that when Kari walked into the room she was surprised with not only a beautiful gown, but jewelry and a clutch to match. Cory took Kari to the John Hancock building to take a few photos. Little did she know he had planned out a whole special night. He led her up to the 95th floor and the elevator doors opened up to the most breathtaking view of the city they had ever seen.
They both enjoyed dinner over the city while watching the sunset. While at dinner Cory pulled a little box out of his pocket and presented it to Kari with a promise. (He even recorded the entire thing with a small camera inside the box!) Kari was overjoyed and accepted Cory’s promise and proposal. She then pulled out and enveloped that had a fake “Save the Date”. Cory had booked her dream wedding venue weeks before that!
